Position: Senior Legal Consultant – Civil & Commercial Law
Location: Kingdom of Bahrain
We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Consultant
to join our specialized legal team. The ideal candidate will have over 15
years of proven experience in civil and commercial law, with strong
expertise in construction and contracting disputes and comprehensive
knowledge of FIDIC contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide
specialized legal advice in civil and commercial matters.
- Draft,
review, and negotiate civil and commercial contracts, particularly construction and contracting agreements.
- Manage
and resolve disputes related to construction projects, including
arbitration and mediation.
- Oversee
the preparation of legal memoranda and pleadings before courts and
judicial bodies.
- Deliver
strategic legal advice to management and clients to ensure full compliance
with relevant local and international laws.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s
or Master’s degree in Law from a recognized university.
- Minimum
of 15 years’ practical experience in civil and commercial law.
- Extensive
expertise in construction and contracting law.
- Advanced
knowledge of FIDIC contracts, types, and practical applications.
- Experience
in commercial arbitration and construction dispute
resolution.
- Strong
ability to prepare and draft high-quality legal documents.
- Excellent
communication and negotiation skills in both Arabic and English.
- In-depth
knowledge of Bahraini laws and regulations.
- Ability
to work under pressure and manage multiple legal files simultaneously.
Preferred Skills & Advantages:
- Experience
in labour and real estate laws related to the construction sector.
- Familiarity
with GCC laws.
